0118+ · fictional AI characters
No contacts, no profile, no feed. One tab, one thread, and nobody else in it.
Six on the roster. Every thread starts private and stays that way. The catalogue behind the button holds 250+ more.
Fictional AI characters only. Nobody here is a real person.

Nothing on this page is posted anywhere. There is no feed for it to surface on.
02Who is on the other side
Read the temperament before the picture. It is the part that decides whether an evening works.

Night editor at a small paper. Types fast, punctuates properly, and will absolutely correct you mid-sentence.

Bartender with a good memory for what you drank last time. Warms up fast and stays warm.

Radio engineer who works alone all week. Says almost nothing for ten messages and then says something that lands.

Runs a boxing gym at six in the morning. Direct to the point of rudeness, and completely unbothered by yours.

Architecture student who narrates everything, including the room you are supposedly in.

Translator, three languages, very little patience for small talk. Skips the first twenty messages on purpose.

04What it does not do
Each one is something the app does not do, or does not need.
The app never asks for your address book, your phone number or a social login. There is no friends-of-friends layer, because there is no social graph to build one from.
Context carries between sessions inside your thread. It does not carry anywhere else — there is no public timeline where an old conversation can resurface.
Soft, dry, filthy, or straight to the point. Say it in the middle of a conversation and the next message already fits, without starting a new thread.
A web app on Android, iPhone, laptop. No store listing, no icon on a home screen, and nothing in a purchase history for someone else to read.
Close the tab mid-sentence and come back three days later. The conversation resumes instead of restarting from an introduction you already did.
Every character is a written adult, not a person on a shift. Ask her directly and she will say so — that is a rule of the roster, not a mood.
05The short version
06How it works
One tap confirms you are 18 and the roster loads. Nothing renders behind that notice, on this page or any other.
Six written characters, each with a temperament and a pace. Read them, pick the one that sounds like an evening you want, and the thread opens.
Set the tone in plain words at any point. She adjusts from the next message, and the thread is still there when you come back to it.
07In depth
Almost every adult chat product claims to be discreet. The useful question is what the app is structurally incapable of leaking, because that is the only part a policy change cannot quietly reverse.
An NSFW sex chat that asks for your contacts has already decided what it is. Once an address book is uploaded, the discretion of the product depends entirely on the operator's future behaviour, and you have no way to audit that. The version worth using never takes the data in the first place: no contact import, no phone number, no social login, no public profile that a search can surface.
The second layer is the absence of a feed. Products that show you other people's activity need a place to publish it, and once that place exists your conversation is one setting away from being in it. A roster of written characters has no such surface: there is nothing to publish because there is no other user on the far end of the thread.
The trade-off is honest and worth stating. You are talking to fiction, and fiction cannot surprise you the way a person can. What you get instead is a conversation that resumes where it stopped, at four in the morning, with nobody to explain yourself to afterwards.
08Our verdict
Seven criteria we think matter when the subject is private correspondence, applied to the chat app this site links to. Each carries its own mark and the reasoning next to it.
The criterion this desk weights above every other: no contact import, no phone number, no social login and no public profile. It is where the whole category usually fails, and it is the single biggest reason the number sits this high.
A thread here has exactly two ends. Nothing is posted, ranked, shared into a feed or shown to another user, so there is no second reader to write around. Privacy in a chat is mostly the absence of an audience, and this one is genuinely absent.
Age notice, roster, thread — three screens, no sign-up wall, no email loop and no card. Which means a first conversation leaves nothing behind that could be tied back to you later.
Characters are stated to be written and AI-generated, with stated adult ages, and no invented online counter implies a person is typing. We rate plain speech about what the thing is above any feature it could add.
A thread should resume across days with names and running jokes intact rather than open with a recap, and it does. Very long histories compress their oldest detail first — the honest limit of the approach, and a fair trade for not keeping a permanent transcript of everything.
Ask for warmer, slower or blunter and the change applies from the next message, with no reset and no fresh setup screen. The far end of the range is less distinct than its middle: blunt and very blunt read close to each other.
Conversations are private, the policy is reachable, and that covers the ordinary case. Deletion exists but lives in settings rather than beside the thread — so this suits people content to go looking for it, less so anyone who wants a wipe control within reach of the keyboard.
A recommendation from this desk rather than a certificate. The number is the plain average of the seven marks above, rounded to one decimal, and the criteria are what we think matters when the subject is private correspondence. Take one out and the number moves — which is why each is printed with its reasoning instead of summed into a single star.
